It’s still immersed in nature — the modern wood and stone building is positioned on the shore of the turquoise Peñol-Guatapé Reservoir, with floor-to-ceiling windows revealing sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and forest — but the atmosphere is sophisticated and upscale.

Rooms and suites are calm and elegant, each with a private wooden deck or balcony, many of which feature open-air Jacuzzis. The best ones have high wood-beamed ceilings and water views.
