Ventozelo Hotel & Quinta is a 500-year-old vineyard estate turned hotel in the heart of the Douro Valley. Set across 400 hectares of terraced hills and forest, it offers a true immersion into the region’s landscape and wine culture. Guest rooms are spread across restored stone buildings, including simple singles, private villas with pools, and suites carved from old wine tanks. There is a restaurant serving produce from the land, a visitor center with tastings and exhibitions, and mapped trails for hiking. It is a working farm at heart, but one that lets you slow down and experience Douro without filters.
