The Chancery Rosewood brings a distinct new identity to a London landmark, transforming the former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square into an all-suite hotel at the center of Mayfair. Redesigned by David Chipperfield, its bold geometry and wide-open windows set the tone for interiors by Joseph Dirand: elegant, tactile, and purposefully spare. All 144 rooms are suites, and the scale is matched by ambition: eight restaurants and bars, including Carbone’s first European outpost and a rooftop bar overlooking the original golden eagle. It is a striking evolution of a celebrated building, tailored for the city’s next chapter.
