One Star: High quality cooking
The Scandinavian-style décor, warm colour palette and picture windows overlooking church cloisters create a very handsome and comfortable environment, especially when you add in the gorgeous handmade crockery and confident, affable service. The cleverly compiled and well-balanced set menus provide an immeasurably satisfying experience; prime, seasonal ingredients feature in contemporary dishes that may be quite delicate in their appearance, but deliver plenty of wonderful flavours.
"Sustainability is the core value by which the restaurant operates. The provenance and locality of produce is essential for us – we lived by this philosophy throughout the design and build of the restaurant. We work with small scale farmers for our meat and use the entire animal to avoid any waste."
