Airelles Château de Versailles, Le Grand Contrôle is something quite unique, set not adjacent to the Palace of Versailles but within its grounds, occupying a 17th-century building that, though recently renovated, remains true to the spirit of Louis XIV’s reign — aesthetically, at least. In proper palace style Le Grand Contrôle contains elevel rooms, two signatures suites, and one lavish apartment — all of them, at every level, combine period-correct decoration with modern luxury comforts. No less significant a chef than Alain Ducasse oversees the award-winning culinary program — the restaurant has earned one MICHELIN Star. The table draws inspiration from the banquets of the Sun King, most notably through the 'Royal Feast'— a truly immersive experience at the heart of the royal court. A Valmont spa and a 15-meter indoor pool complete the picture. A particularly exclusive perk: hotel guests enjoy private guided tours of the Château de Versailles and the Grand or Petit Trianon, outside of public opening hours.
