In the 1940s and ’50s this was the capital’s most in-demand guest house, and in its new incarnation it aims to recapture that atmosphere. The adults-only policy certainly doesn’t hurt, but more essential are the Pink Palm’s ultra-chic rooms, designed in a knowing homage to the house’s mid-century heyday.
