Its 18 rooms layer cork floors, custom birch furniture, rattan mirrors, and textiles by Oaxacan artist Ismael Gutierrez Montano with comforts like Frette linens and in-room robes. Outside, a saltwater pool and tiled wall fountain anchor the garden courtyard. It is a small hotel, but a refreshing alternative to the city’s grander, more historic stays.
