For almost thirty years the Villa Pétrusse sat empty, its salons shuttered and gardens overgrown. Built in 1880 by textile merchant Henri-Eugène de Kerkhove, with architecture by Pierre Kemp and landscaping by Édouard André, it was once considered a “miniature château.” Its recent restoration has given the villa new life without erasing its past: worn stone staircases, hidden passages, and preserved details now stand alongside 22 rooms, suites, and a penthouse. Overlooking the Pétrusse River and Adolphe Bridge, the hotel captures both the romance of its history and the vitality of its new chapter.
