From the outside, BULL looks like your typical Cotswolds coaching inn: all golden stone and historic charm. Inside, it is anything but. Owned by Matthew Freud, it’s a curious, quietly subversive stay filled with Banksys, Dalís and Damien Hirsts, seven wildly varied dining and drinking spots, and bedrooms stocked with mezcal negronis and midnight snacks from a pantry called The Trough.
