You can eat in the discreet ground-floor dining room or upstairs at a small counter looking into the kitchen – just be sure to pay a visit to the impressive wine cellar. One of the partners owns 1,100 acres of farmland in Northamptonshire, which provides beef, game, vegetables and more for the menu of ornately presented dishes with a subtle Sri Lankan touch.
