Modern Design & Quiet
The One Nanyuan is a cultural landmark disguised as a retreat, set in the wooded hills of Xinpu and brought to life by Taiwanese architect Han Baode. Inspired by a Song Dynasty painting, the design draws from Jiangnan gardens, Fujian traditions, and Baroque arcades, realized through the work of hundreds of artisans. The result is richly layered, from hand-carved woodwork to winding courtyards. It is a place shaped by philosophy as much as design, where architecture, landscape, and hospitality move in cohesion.
