Housed in a traditional country house overlooking Champagne’s vineyards, Briqueterie is a picture-perfect weekend escape from Paris. Sitting around an hour and a half from the French capital, and just a ten-minute drive from Épernay’s world-famous champagne houses, the hotel’s contemporary guest rooms take their cues from the surrounding gardens with soft shades of cream, green and light wood. A striking large bow window frames the natural view from the hotel’s gastronomic restaurant, Alcôve, where the refined menu is rooted in the local terroir, while the more relaxed Bistro focuses on French and Mediterranean-inspired dishes. The spa is the first in France to offer treatments by Maison Caulières, a historic brand specialized in natural plant oils since 1714, with facials courtesy of CODAGE Paris. There’s also a gym, hammam, Jacuzzi and a heated indoor pool for a complete wellbeing experience.
