Diners flock to this small neighbourhood joint and it’s easy to understand why: the bubbly, charming hostess works seamlessly with her husband chef from Veneto, who in turn delivers simple, delicious Italian fare with subtle Asian twists. Try his tau kwa tower – an appetising mix of sautéed Italian-style greens and Singaporean dried tofu salad in a tangy Asian dressing. Hand-made pasta is another highlight, as are the weekly specials.
