Just over an hour’s drive from Gdansk, and mere minutes from the Baltic coast, Pałac Ciekocinko Hotel Resort & Wellness stands on nearly 2,000 acres of parkland, surrounded by verdant forest. This aristocratic house was a near-ruin when its current proprietors took over, but after a meticulous restoration it’s a spectacular country-house luxury hotel, its rooms, suites, and apartments, divided between the main house and the carriage house, marrying classic atmosphere with contemporary comfort. The stables are a unique attraction — this is a working equestrian center — as is the Institut Esthederm spa. Meanwhile two restaurants serve the palace: the formal Luneta & Lorneta Bistro Club and the more casual Restaurant in Park.
