Zorba & Bond is set apart from some of Tbilisi’s other high-end boutique hotels by its setting, in a beautifully restored heritage structure in the capital’s historic district. But once you’ve passed through its doors, you’ll find that it’s as of-the-moment as any of them, mixing modern design, contemporary colors, and classic Georgian craftsmanship and iconography in a thoroughly memorable cocktail. The ground-floor rooms and apartments are a touch warmer and less theatrical, though they’re still of a piece; the 8th-floor rooms and suites are more intense, decked out in ultra-saturated orange and midnight blue. In-house services are somewhat limited, but the hotel’s staff connects guests to anything in (or out of) town.
