Once the property of the crown and home to an Earl and a Duke, Boringdon Hall still has a regal air about it today. Rooms might have been given a modern makeover with neutral shades and contemporary furnishings, but there’s not many hotels where you can upgrade to a suite in an Elizabethan turret.
