The island of Capri has long been synonymous with a certain luxe seclusion, and Pazziella Garden & Suites does nothing to disabuse travelers of this association. Though it’s located within Capri’s town center, a short walk from the central Piazza Umberto I, it succeeds in establishing an atmosphere of luxe tranquility — and much of it is due to the calming effect of the gardens prominently featured in the hotel’s name.
With 25 rooms and suites it’s not the smallest boutique hotel in town, but it’s small enough to remain intimate, and to never feel busy. The accommodations range from reasonably spacious Deluxes, complete with private patios, all the way to Pool Patio Suites with private plunge pools and the Sea View Capri Suite, with its panoramic balcony.
There’s a central swimming pool beneath the canopy of a vast magnolia tree, surrounded by idyllic gardens dotted with lounge furniture, as well as the P Garden Lounge Bar. The main culinary event, however, is Campanella by Quattro Passi, by the same chef Fabrizio Mellino whose original Quattro Passi has earned three MICHELIN Stars for its exceptional Mediterranean cooking.
