The no shortage of beautifull riads in Morocco, but it’s not often you get to stay in a 19th-century palace. Riad Mayfez’s owner leaned into the palace’s eclectic mix of architectural styles, where Arabic-Moorish elements sit alongside an Art Deco villa, and added her own mash up of influences into the mix to show off her love of two places, Morocco and London’s Mayfair. A black marble swimming pool sits at the center of the riad and is complemented by an extensive wellbeing offering including a Jacuzzi, facials and massages, and a marble and mosaic lined hammam. Other on-property facilities include a library, kid’s rooms, and cooking classes in the kitchen, or ask the team about organizing tours of Fez and beyond.
