Perched upon a hill right in the center of Chora, Anandes Hotel offers a best of both worlds location. It places you close enough to soak up the energy of Mykonos Town, but just far away enough to also feel like you've checked into a tranquil retreat, and one with very enviable sunset views across the whitewashed town and Aegean Sea. Minimalist rooms blend together soothing shades of greige with clean lines and tactile materials, think travertine stone, embossed pine wood, linen, and bronze highlights. All face the sea, and some come with the luxurious option of enjoying the view from a private Jacuzzi or infinity pool.

The hotel’s main pool is the focal point, however. Not only does it come with those spectacular sea views but it’s also where you’ll find the only Greek outpost of the famed La Petite Maison (LPM). A bespoke menu created just for Anandes puts a Grecian riff on LPM’s usual French Riviera-style dishes, which are served al fresco alongside signature favorites such as the vanilla crème brûlée and Tomatini cocktail. If you’re looking for some downtime then as well as poolside lounging there’s also a gym, hammam, sauna, and a range of massages and beauty treatments.
