                        A restaurant with the feel of a speakeasy? Curiously, this one is hidden inside another one (it's in the basement of the Gatxupa), so in a way it gives off that aura of mystery and secrecy. In this modern space, with a large kitchen open to the dining room, chef Bruno Oteiza seeks a mestizo gastronomic experience based on a fusion of contemporary Basque and Mexican cuisine, mainly based on high-quality local produce. The tasting menu is complemented by a larger version called Amakase (a nod to the idea of omakase menus but playing on the word ‘ama’, which recalls a mother’s cooking).
