In DIFC’s towering ICD Brookfield is an homage to lively New York City brasseries. Hidden behind a curtain, this spot is home to many outlets: The Nursery, a coffeeshop; The Potting Shed, a greenhouse-style meeting place; The Aviary, a sophisticated late night cocktail bar; and two restaurants dubbed Rockpool and The Salon, which share the same menu, but offer different dining experiences. In the former, diners are seated in an aquatic setting with a central indoor pool to dine around; while the latter is a grand dining room, where chefs can be seen in action in the open kitchen. Expect seafood and steaks along with pasta dishes; they also serve a traditional Sunday lunch.
