The Singapore EDITION marks the brand's first foray into Southeast Asia, and even in a corner of the world that's particularly known for ultra-luxurious hotels — not to mention the neighbors on swanky Orchard Road, including the Four Seasons on one side and the St. Regis Singapore on the other — it lives up to the hype. The lobby makes a striking impression with its curving white marble walls, tropical plants, and a grand domed ceiling adorned with glimmering gold leaf. Beyond the light-filled conservatory is a spacious courtyard draped with live greenery that's visible from the rooftop pool nine stories up.
Most rooms and suites overlook the central garden, with foliage forming a lush backdrop for the spare, silent interiors. The decor is mostly white and beige, with oak flooring, cream-colored rugs, and floor-to-ceiling windows with bedside-controlled blackout curtains. In-room amenities are as high-end as you'd expect — Frette linens, La Bottega robes, Le Labo products — and the marble bathrooms are especially lavish with freestanding tubs and custom lighting. Breakfast is served on a leafy terrace overlooking the courtyard garden, and up on the roof, a tree-framed poolside bar serves Singaporean cocktails and street food-inspired small plates.
