This building's traditional shingle façade demonstrates its affinity with the region, as does its smart interior drawing on modern straight lines and natural materials such as wood and stone. Markus Grittle conjures up cuisine that also takes its cue from the region. In the evening, the interesting set menu is formed of three to five courses (dishes include THE ELEGANT FISH – sturgeon, carrot, purslane); at lunchtime, a three-course version is served. Slightly more traditional fare is available à la carte. The terrace affords a view of the ski slopes. Overnight accommodation is to be had at the Fuxbau Lodges and, just around the corner, the Das Johann hotel, through which you can also book the Arlberg Lodges.
