                        The Pankert family has been delighting food lovers for three generations, making Zur Post a blue-chip establishment that has held at least one Michelin star since 1977. The friendly homespun feel of this stylish establishment is reflected in the thoughtful service and romantic interior. Chef Pankert delicately wields his technical prowess, delving into the classical background and extensive knowledge that form the backbone of his cuisine, while adding a subtle, well-judged Asian edge. He may pair super-fresh hamachi with red cabbage, delicately perfumed with yuzu, crunchy celeriac and black sesame seeds. His repertory is subtle and nuanced, and big-boned sauces provide depth and character, like the beurre blanc and coulis of fresh garden herbs which elegantly flank and enhance seabass.
