Gold accents, marble finishes and a dining room that is at once luxurious and welcoming—this sleek spot in St. Lawrence has all of the polish one would expect of a modern Italian steakhouse (with prices to match). Just like the setting, which marries traditional inspiration with contemporary flair, the dishes reflect a blend of old and new. Grilled calamari with burnt orange and pangrattato is at once simple and refined. Main dishes, whether the 24-ounce contrafiletto or the Nova Scotia lobster finished with a vermouth and tarragon butter, are impressive. Finally, torta di cioccolato with dark chocolate ganache in an espresso crème anglaise is decadence defined.
