It’s at once grounded in its place — each suite is named after a traditional Yucatecan song and features decorative pasta-tiled floors and handcrafted furnishings — and oriented to design-conscious guests, its sophisticated common spaces swathed in ivory, silver, and butter yellow in homage to Mérida’s nickname, “the white city.”
Some rooms have romantic four-poster beds and ornate chandeliers, others private gardens with plunge pools. Highlights include a restaurant serving elevated regional dishes, a pretty courtyard pool, and near the entrance, an imposing poplar tree whose roots are fed by an underground cenote.
