To start with, the location on a 45ha estate is terrific. The cosy space with a tiled stove that draws the eye exudes rustic charm and a certain chic. Specialities include various dishes featuring meat from bison they have reared on their own farm. Note: On Mondays only bison burgers, or veggie burgers, are served. Tip: the marvellous terrace with a view of the countryside! The small Lammershof hotel, the main building of which dates from 1709, has cosy guestrooms.

"Not only do I have the opportunity to draw on the wealth of resources that our own bison and deer represent, but sustainability is also practised here in many ways. We have our own wood chip system and a slop system for producing biogas. Much of the furniture is made by repurposing our own scrap wood."
