Situated at the entrance to a tranquil valley, this restaurant dating back centuries now has young new managers at the helm with a focus on cuisine that has its roots in local traditions yet with a slightly modern twist. The portions are decidedly generous, with real attention paid to presentation and colour as well as substance and quality. Meat takes centre stage here, although fish dishes also feature on the menu. In summer, dine outdoors under the trees or the delightful pergola.
