The Fairmont Nile only opened in 2010, but there’s a touch of old-school glamour to its grand twin towers, which sit right on the banks of the river Nile. The feeling persists in the 542 rooms, which nod to Art Deco with their elegant cream and black palette and high gloss wood furnishings. There are numerous bars and restaurants to choose from serving international cuisine, with a more local taste of Egypt at the colorful Bab El Nile, which also puts on a program of live entertainment. The wellbeing offering includes spa treatments, a fitness room, and sauna, plus a hair and nail salon, whilst up on the 25th floor you’ll find the outdoor Sky Pool with Cairo city views.
