The classic seaside hotel that is Stammershalle Badehotel is now getting into its second century in operation, and while it’s been well maintained and subtly modernized, the experience remains one that its very first guests would recognize. This is the cozy side of Danish design: Nordic in character but far from modernist, much less minimalist. Its 36 rooms and suites conform to the historical floor plan and retain many original architectural features; views of the Baltic Sea are universal.
New for 2025 is a spa with a heated saltwater pool, jacuzzi, sauna, cold water pool and steam bath. Meanwhile the restaurant combines Nordic, French, and Asian influences, and draws from a cellar that specializes in French and German wines.
