Opened in 1999, Chef Gary Danko's eponymous dining room is a San Francisco institution. Located in Fisherman's Wharf, the restaurant continues to be a busy beacon for business types, celebratory couples, and well-heeled families. The cooking is rooted in classic French cuisine with a wandering sense of global inspiration. Diners select from a prix-fixe of three to five courses, with ample options in each category of appetizer, seafood, meat, and dessert.
