This 17th-century convent became a hotel in the 1960s, but it was only during its 2020 closure that Palazzo Ripetta found its present form — a family-owned luxury hotel with a strong visual identity (and an enviable collection of art). The location, two streets to the south of the Piazza del Popolo, could hardly be more auspicious, and the 78 rooms and suites are the very picture of modern Roman elegance. Piazzetta Ripetta is open all day for drinks and light snacks while restaurant San Baylon serves classic Roman dishes. Up on the rooftop locals and visitors alike gather over unique cocktails with a view of the city.
