Situated on over 240,000 acres of Patagonian rainforest, Hulio Huilo Reino Fungi Lodge offers the unique opportunity for an inside look at nature — in more ways than one. The domed hotel, located in the main complex of the Huilo-Huilo Biological Reserve, was designed to resemble the many species of mushrooms found around the park. Its fungal inspiration aside, the wooden interiors and camp blankets also give the rooms a distinct treehouse vibe. Not that you’ll be roughing it — guests have access via a covered passageway to the adjacent (and more conventional) Nothofagus Hotel, where they can use the indoor and outdoor pools, Finnish sauna, hot tub, game room, and other amenities.
