But a hotel more devoted to wine would be difficult to imagine. Here the focus, perhaps surprisingly, is on Californian wines, though the collection ranges worldwide. The hotel itself is no afterthought; its rooms and suites feel glamorous in a worldly sort of way, as does the Vineyard restaurant, though its sourcing is impeccably local and seasonal.
