New isn't always best, and this long-standing spot in Roma from the same people behind Maximo is further proof. It's colorful and upbeat here, where cafe lights are strung overhead, a large communal table runs down the center of the space, and an open kitchen adds to the lively ambience. 
It's all about breakfast and lunch here. Pastries and bread are baked in house and are a worthy order first thing, though there are a number of other strong contenders. French toast is a classic, done here with fresh berries, berry sauce, and a thick, rich whipped cream, or go savory with an oversized bowl of chilaquiles piled with crispy tortilla chips in a vibrant verde salsa. At lunch, sandwiches, pastas, and pizza are available.
