It's small but charming inside this ambitious East Austin restaurant where Chef/co-owner Je Wallerstein delivers a creative and seasonally minded vegan tasting menu. As might be expected, local ingredients are the star of the show here, where purveyors share space on the menu and the kitchen lets those ingredients shine. 
First bites, like a furikake cracker with tender sweet potato, tamari caramel and crème fraîche, impress. House-made, green-tinted gondolini with garlic confit and a touch of yuzu are set over an arugula pesto for a bright, spring-forward dish, while congee made with Carolina Gold rice is bold and beautifully savory. Persian lime and mango sherbet finished with chili lime dust and macadamia crumb is a striking finale.
