A local standby that doesn’t actually look like much, Sushi Seki combines exceptional sushi and sashimi with a casual vibe that keeps neighborhood loyalists packed in for late-night dinners and takeout. It may seem like a simple restaurant for a very good spicy tuna roll, but their unique omakase is what makes it a worthy favorite. Dedicated itamae bring quality and creativity to each bite. Sample toro chopped with ginger that is at once tender, rich and crunchy over rice; or a slice of fatty salmon with avocado sauce. But, for a true treat, go for their signature hand roll of toasted nori surrounding chopped juicy scallop with crunchy tempura flakes, tobiko and spicy mayo.
