A meal at Supper promises the kind of fuss-free Italian cooking that true-blue New Yorkers keep in regular rotation. This competent kitchen succeeds in delivering comfort and consistency in spades (as well as to your door), but bring a stash of cash as settling up with credit cards isn't an option. The open kitchen with its leaping flames is theatrical to say the least, but it's not all about show here. Twirl your fork into delicious pastas like spaghetti pomodoro, featuring a long-simmered sauce with chunky bits. Simply dressed spaghetti al limone is light and delicious, while daily specials include a breaded chicken cutlet with roasted potatoes. Mashed potatoes are fluffy and addictive, not unlike the inventive and enjoyable tiramisu.
