MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

You no longer need the patience of a saint to dine here, as they now accept reservations by email. The mood is appealingly boisterous; and seats are in the thick of it all—near the kitchen. This passionate team isn't letting fame go to their heads and continues to up their game by creating many Filipino adobos and other flavor-packed dynamo dishes. Don’t look for homestyle, since they do their best work on genre-bender dishes. Dig into ensaladang ifugao, a beautiful and refreshing purple-rice dish, or kinilaw na pugita, with tender octopus, salt-cured olives, purple yam, and a habanero dressing. Surrender decision-making and go for broke with the Chef's Choice. To finish, everyone is offered a chocolate-covered banana slice presented on a leaf.
