Txoko literally means “a small cozy corner” in Basque, a language spoken in Northern Spain. Yet, the term more commonly refers to “a private gastronomic society,” a popular institution in the said region. At this dining room, patrons can savor Basque cuisine and accompanying wines, while taking in the entire cooking process—from their seat at the spacious countertop surrounding an open kitchen and grill. The signature dishes are txuleton, a tomahawk steak with rich flavor and juicy texture; as well as El Txoko De Terreno Arrain, tender grilled flatfish.
