A few metres from the conical Catedral de São Sebastião building, there is a singular restaurant with an unassuming façade that can easily go unnoticed among Lapa’s historic townhouses. Climbing a long, narrow staircase, you will discover a two‑storey establishment with brick walls that lend an industrial, pared‑back and spacious feel. Here, chef Yan Ramos runs a kitchen marked by his creativity, updated daily according to ingredient availability. At lunchtime, a fixed menu composed of three courses is served, while at dinner there is an eleven‑step tasting menu. Do not miss the unmissable Roasted beetroot served on curd, topped with tahini and herbs, and the crispy Barriga de porco pururuca (crispy‑skin pork belly) accompanied by smoked mashed potatoes, green apple and pork demi‑glace!
