MICHELIN Guide New York City 2019 Celebration Recap

Chefs and restaurateurs gathered at the Rainbow Room to toast this year's selection.

Hundreds of guests gathered at the iconic Rainbow Room on the 65th floor of Rockefeller Center to celebrate the MICHELIN Guide New York City 2019 selection. Billy Harris emceed the event, which featured remarks from Jill Kaplan from United Airlines, Joanie Martin, Michelin North America's chief administrative officer and Gwendal Poullennec, international director of the MICHELIN Guides. Following their comments, the chefs from newly-starred restaurants were each recognized. (Watch the presentation in the video below.)

Dishes were prepared by Gabriel Kreuther of his eponymous now two-Michelin-starred restaurant, Emma Bengtsson of Aquavit, Melissa Rodriguez of Del Posto and David Shim of Cote.
