MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View
This long-awaited development in Bridgeport, connected to the popular Maria’s Packaged Goods & Community Bar, serves up deliciousness and fun in equal parts. Think: a quirky Korean-Polish fusion menu; daily mish-mash specials; and T-shirts as well as fireball sauces to take home. All the food can be ordered at the counter to-go, but do yourself a favor and make your way to the open industrial dining space or large patio to enjoy the jamming bar and some live music with your meal. Everything at Kimski is truly unique. Try the homemade smoked sausage with soju mustard, kraut-chi (kimchi and kraut) and scallions tucked into a soft roll; or the kopo wangs, organic chicken wings slathered in a sweet-spicy AP sauce, laced with sesame seeds and scallions.
