MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

This lovely addition to the West Loop dining scene arrives thanks to husband-and-wife-team, Chef Devon Quinn and Jodi Fyfe. The gorgeous, whitewashed space offers an airy, vibrant ambience even by night, with exposed brick, encaustic tile at the convivial bar, tufted leather banquettes and commissioned artwork throughout. The inspired cuisine applies flavors of the Mediterranean to seasonal produce, some of it plucked straight from the on-site urban garden. Renowned favorites from the menu may include baked shrimp paccheri; curried lentil brik; or even cumin-grilled lamb with Israeli couscous and merguez. House-made pastas might feature sweet pea pierogi with broccoli purée, trumpet mushrooms, pickled spring onions and crispy potato shards.
