The Okura Hotel, Tokyo

Minato City’s Okura Hotel is a sprawling hotel —for Tokyo, at least — with two buildings offering guests two distinct flavors of high-end accommodations. Okura’s Heritage Wing offers a traditional Japanese aesthetic, with clean lines and blonde wood the prevailing interior design elements. A number of suites include balcony views, but the Presidential features a unique garden balcony. Meanwhile, spectacular skyline views are on offer at the Prestige Tower, with the topmost floors allowing guests entry to its exclusive club facility. A host of meeting and banquet facilities are available, with Japanese or Western aesthetics, making the Okura excellent for conventions and functions. Gourmets are absolutely spoiled at Okura, with French, Japanese, Chinese options on offer in its exquisitely appointed dining rooms.
