A lively dining pub with hearty yet refined food and elegant yet unshowy surroundings, it doesn’t take long to realise that The Chalk Freehouse comes from the Tom Kerridge stable. One of his longtime lieutenants, Tom De Keyser, is at the helm, crafting boldly flavoured dishes built around prime British produce – such as rolled shoulder of Launceston lamb with ratatouille.
