Deep blue velvet booths, reclaimed wood flooring, and a moody bar. If this alluring retreat looks straight out of a Hollywood set, well, it should come as no surprise, since one of the partners is indeed a blockbuster film producer. It's not just all pizzaz though, with a talented kitchen team who turns out inventive vegetarian plates, pastas, local fish, poultry, and so much more. On any given night, the room is abuzz with patrons happily sipping on well-crafted cocktails, sharing a charcuterie board, or digging into Kentucky fried hen, roasted lamb ribs, and dirty pasta (think rigatoni with ground duck).
Kasekrainer over parsnip- and pear-purée is a home run, as are desserts, like the apple and huckleberry handpie with spiced rum-crème anglaise.
