Deeply rooted in heritage, the region embodies an intimate approach to winemaking, and its family-run, human-scale estates reflect a tradition of rigour and craftsmanship passed down through generations. The MICHELIN Guide's inaugural grape Selection features 94 wine estates across the Côte de Nuits, the Côte de Beaune and the Côte Chalonnaise, with nine awarded the highest distinction of Three Grapes.
