End-of-Summer Wellness Getaways Outside of NYC

These destinations bring out the best of summer, all within a three-hour driving radius of the Big Apple.

New York City travel wellness

When it comes to wellness getaways, it’s easy for New Yorkers to assume they need a week off from work, a flight to Mexico, coordination with gurus (which first means getting one) and a good chunk of money.

The following destinations are relatively painless to coordinate and range in price, meaning there’s something for everyone. Bonus: they’re all within three hours driving distance.

These selected retreats focus on reviving aching bodies and tired minds with modalities like yoga, meditation, massage, aromatherapy and horseback riding.

Escape the city, slow down, turn off your phone and re-calibrate before fall.
