Amanda Shulman is the chef/owner of Her Place Supper Club, one of three restaurants in Philadelphia to be awarded One MICHELIN Star in the city's inaugural MICHELIN Guide. The restaurant is a fitting tribute to her days as a student at The University of Pennsylvania, where she often held dinner parties for her friends.
Now, having earned One MICHELIN Star, Her Place Supper Club is on an international stage. They may be big shoes to fill, but Chef Shulman is ready. We sat down with the business owner, chef, wife to Alex Kemp (chef/owner of My Loup) and mother of a young daughter to hear what earning the Star means to her.
